The winners of the 2022 Entertainment Achievement Awards (EAAs) were announced at a ceremony in Accra, Ghana, at the weekend, with singer Black Sherif winning the Entertainment Personality of the Year Award.

Black Sherif won the Entertainment Personality of the Year Award at the 2022 EAAs.

Now in their second year, the EAAs were established by Citi TV to celebrate Ghanaian creatives across music, sports, comedy, online media and film.

The ‘Second Sermon’ singer, who recently secured a deal with American distribution company and record label EMPIRE, beat off competition from fellow musicians KiDiStonebwoySarkodieAmaarae as well as broadcaster Giovanni Caleb and comedian OB Amponsah to claim the coveted award.
