Rema, Duckwrth and JZyNO out of Hey Neighbour Fest in SA

The three were among the artists billed to entertain fans in Pretoria this year. Rema’s cancellation, the organisers said, was due to health reasons. Regarding Duckwrth, the organisers said he was dealing with vertigo, while “JZyNO, unfortunately, won’t be able to attend due to unforeseen circumstances.”

“The festival team received this news from Rema’s management team this week,” Hey Neighbour Festival said in a statement. “We send our best wishes for his recovery and hope to see him on our stage in the future.”

Hey Neighbour festival director Warren Le Grange said that he understood the fans’ disappointment and apologised for the inconvenience.

With Rema, Duckwrth and JZyNO out, Sauti Sol (Kenya) and South African acts Mafikizolo, Zakes Bantwini, Black Motion, DJ Zinhle and Sho Madjozi are expected to perform. They will be joined by Nothing But Thieves, H.E.R., Kendrick Lamar, Khalid, The Chainsmokers and Swedish House Mafia, among others.
