Telecel Ghana Music Awards 2024: All the nominees

The awards, formerly known as the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs), are now referred to as the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs) following the announcement of the telco as the new headline sponsor.

Marking their silver jubilee this year, the awards spotlight and celebrate remarkable musical achievements by Ghanaian artists spanning various genres including highlife, hiplife, Afropop and traditional music. Notable award categories include New Artist, Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Most Popular Song of the Year and Artist of the Year.

Among this year’s most nominated acts are Stonebwoy, who was shortlisted in 15 categories, Kuami Eugene, who was nominated 14 times, and Sarkodie who scored eight nods.

Meanwhile, last year’s biggest winner, Black Sherif, who converted five of his nominations into victories including for Artist of the Year, has been nominated six times.
