The 2024 edition of Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival will be held in Malkerns Valley, eSwatini, on 2 and 3 August.
The festival is a feast of music, fashion, entertainment, culinary exploits and connoisseur-led premium wine and whiskey showcases. It is a unique and sophisticated African-vintage-styled celebration of the local, wholesome, creative and delicious – a truly sensory experience.
The event is designed to celebrate the wholesome, the creative and the delicious, proudly showcasing the amazing, diverse tastes of Southern Africa, as well as supporting local artists and artisans. Festivalgoers can expect the sophistication and variety of the mellow music, fabulous fashion, culinary exploits, and craft beverages that the Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival is best known for.
Early bird and online tickets for the festival will go on sale on 2 April 2024, while Luju trader applications will open in the same month.
Last year, the festival saw over 9 000 attendees from 24 countries, enjoying 29 acts, eight culinary showcases and a regional fashion show with 14 designers from eSwatini, South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Lesotho. Over 700 jobs were created by the festival, while 92 traders generated over R2 million.
House On Fire and Standard Bank Eswatini are committed to developing the local economy and the arts industry and are pleased to once again allow local artists, designers, and artisans to showcase their talent and products to the region.
