Kenya: Winners of 2022 Café Ngoma Awards to be announced 3 December

The winners of the 2022 Café Ngoma Awards will be announced at Elysian Resort in Runda, Nairobi, on 3 December.

Percussionist Kasiva Mutua has been nominated for the Instrumentalist of the Year award.

Café Ngoma Awards is an initiative that seeks to celebrate musicians, businesses and personalities within the alternative space in Kenya.

Now in its fifth edition, this year’s event has 18 nominee categories and five honorary award recipients. Due to public demand, a reggae category was introduced this year.
