Ghana to host global gospel concert

A new gospel concert has been launched in Accra. Tagged ‘MTN Stands in Worship’ the concert was launched recently at the city’s Ridge Towers.
According to the organisers, ‘MTN Ghana Stands in Worship concert will be a remarkable total worship experience where thousands of people stand in worship God in one accord.’
Artists expected to perform at the concert were announced at the Ridge Towers, with the line-up including local gospel musicians as well as well-known ones form outside of the country. ‘Alpha and Omega’ singer Selina Boateng, Tagoe Sisters, Ceccy Twum, Joe Mettle, and famous group No Tribe among others represent the home-grown contingent. Nigerian gospel act Sinach and William McDowell from the United States headline the ‘MTN Stands in Worship’ concert.
Tickets to the event are on sale. Regular tickets can be obtained at GHC30 ($8). The cost for double tickets is set at GHC50 ($13) . VIP tickets go for GHC 50 ($13).
The MTN Ghana Stands in Worship concert will be held 10 October. Venue is the Accra Sports Stadium.
