This years edition of the Ovation Red Carol Concert and Awards event has been fixed for 13 December 2014, to hold in the hallowed setting of the Ghana State House Banquet Hall, Accra. The event first hosted in Ghana last year, was conceived by its organisers, Ovation International, Publishers of the Pan-West African Ovation Magazine to serve the dual purpose of providing high quality entertainment and providing a spotlight for Ghana’s young talent.Last years event featured stars, Ice Prince, MI, Joselyn Dumas, Chris Attoh, Burna Boy and Wyclef Jean.
Though styled a Carol event, it is entirely non-denominational, however the event is strictly by invitation and guests are required to add a touch of red to their attire. This years event, shall feature, an array of Ghanaian musical talent, as well as comperes, Kofi Okyere Darko and Sika Osei. All in all, this promises to be a hugely entertaining evening, with the theme of “Hope for our talented youth”, as well as the over-arching theme, African Unity and achievement.
