BIO

Dipp (Oladipupo Ogundele) is a Nigerian singer-songwriter. Well known for his dancing ability, Dipp works in the R&B genre and has drawn comparisons to US singer Usher. The first sign of his path came as a child singing to and imitating Michael Jackson as a child.

His first album was released under Efyzzie Entertainment. Named Future is Now, it produced a few singles, notably ‘Rock Your Body,’ which steamy video featuring a then less-know Yemi Alade caused a stir. That video aside, Dipp’s early videos used special effects which were not quite as widespread in the Nigerian music video scene at the time. Hs video for the song Dangerous took the Sound City Music Awards for Best Special Effects and Editing. He won another special effects award at the Nigerian Video Music Awards.

After a break from the industry, Dipp returned in January 2015 with the song ‘Play Love’. Later same year he released a video for a new song Mademoiselle, featuring his trademark dance moves.
