BIO
Gran’mah are Mozambique’s finest dub/reggae live band, consistently touring and bringing their formidable live show to audiences in Mozambique and the Southern African region. The band is led by the soulful vocals of Regina dos Santos and backed by a tight four-piece band of Leo Fernandes (bass), Luis Silva (lead guitar), Miguel Wilson (drums) and Miguel Marques (keyboard).
The band's fusion style of music is inspired by different artists from various eras, with a fresh approach to making reggae music, mixed with dub, ska, soul, hip-hop, and other genres, into that Gran’mah Sound. In 2014 they won a Mozambique Music Award for Best Alternative Song for 'I Got 2 Move', which appears on the self-titled debut album, released in 2015.
