UK-based Zimbabwean Afropop artist Kazz Khalif has released an amapiano single called ‘Problem’.
The song is available for streaming and download on all major digital platforms. The track was co-produced by DJ Kunswagg (Poland) and King Chief (Zimbabwe). It features Bloodlyne (Zimbabwe) and Bailey Browne (UK), and comes after his previous single ‘The Other Side’.
‘Problem’ is a catchy vocal amapiano track fused with retro house sounds, which provide the canvas for Kazz Khalif, Bloodlyne and Bailey Browne to deliver passionate vocals in English and Shona.
“We wanted to focus more on what’s current, so we decided to talk about the next phase of our technological advancements: the metaverse,” Kazz Khalif said. “The music video was created using animation by the very talented Zimbabwean artist Eden Lang who brought quality, character and action to our characters.”
Born Farhaan Khan, Kazz Khalif stormed the music scene in 2007 with the duo BKay and Kazz. The duo made waves after collaborating with UK-based Zimbabwean dancehall artist Decibel on the track ‘Ndikati Hello’. BKay and Kazz were known for hits like ‘You Know It’s Right’, ‘Amina Kadeya’ and ‘Seven Wonders’. Kazz Khalif later pursued a solo career and released tracks such as ‘Sweet Gal’, ‘International African’ and ‘Shaking Through the Night’.
