Call for applications: Music Cities Awards 2023

Musicians around the world are invited to submit entries for the 2023 edition of the Music Cities Awards ahead of the presentation ceremony in Huntsville, Alabama, US, from 18 to 20 October.
The Music Cities Awards is a global competition designed to acknowledge and reward the most outstanding applications of music for economic, social, environmental and cultural development in cities and places all around the world.
There are a total of 11 Music Cities Awards spanning small to large city initiatives, tourism, sustainability, music offices, real estate and the night time economy.
Below is the full list of categories:
- Best Global Music City.
- Best Initiative to Support Diversity and Inclusion in Music.
- Best Initiative to Support Music Education and Career Development.
- Best Music Tourism Initiative.
- Best Initiative Using Music to Improve Health and Wellbeing.
- Best Initiative Using Music to Support Environmental Sustainability.
- Best Initiative Using Music for Economic, Social or Community Development in Cities.
- Best Night-Time Economy Initiative.
- Best Use of Music in Real Estate or City Planning.
- Best Organisation or Individual Supporting Music in their City.
- Best Digital Innovation to Support Musicians or Music in Cities.
The deadline for application is 31 May. Nominees will be announced on 31 July.
