Brikama to host Kambeng Festival for the third time

After hosting a second edition last year, organisers of the Brikama Kambeng festival have announced that a second edition of will take place on 16 November at the Brikamaa Box-ba mini-stadium in the west coast region of the Gambia.
Usually organised by Stickybee Promotions, the show which will be consisting of different talented artistes from different places in the Gambia is aimed at uniting the natives of Brikama and Gambia at large as the name implies “KAMBENG” meaning Unity.
This year’s edition main acts are ENC and ST, Eric Boy, Larry King, Maka D Don, Nat Easy, Maka B, Chronicv Bobb, Praisy, Lady Lina, Lizy Da Hardest and Idealistic.
Special guest artists are A2, Big Faa, Sophia, Nobles, Hussain and Chanta. They will be sharing stage with artistes of different backgrounds which qualifies the event to be decentralized.
The festival will attract cultural display, live music and Deejay rocking.
Mustapha Jallow, alias Mustic Chief Executive Officer of Stickybee Promotions: “This is the third edition we will have a cultural display first and followed by stage performance of artists as we want to promote our culture through music and we want to promote love and unity to the audiences through music on that night.”
Host of the event Modou Lamin Jammeh said he is proud to be associated with the festival and called for unity among Brikama residents. “The concept of this festival is for us as residents in Brikama to embrace each other’s keeper at all times,” he said. Jammeh then urged residents to support the event.
