Paradise Worldwide, in partnership with Music In Africa, is calling on African artists and producers to remix the anthem of Rave the Planet Parade, which takes place in Berlin, Germany, on 9 July.
Rave the Planet is a non-profit organisation based in Berlin dedicated to the art and culture of electronic music. The organisation’s main aims are to protect techno culture as a UNESCO intangible heritage and to bring back the spirit of the Berlin Love Parade through the new Rave the Planet Parade 2022.
The fast tempo techno track was released on 26 May and was produced Kai Tracid and A*S*Y*S.
The winner of the remix competition will get:
- The remixed track released and distributed via Paradise Worldwide.
- Professional postproduction of the song (mixing and mastering).
- A marketing campaign to promote the song worth €5 000 ($5 300).
- The remix promoted via Rave the Planet’s 1 million-plus diehard fans and community in Europe and the Americas.
- Guarantee that the song will be played at the Rave the Planet Parade 2022 in Berlin.
“With a new, big parade in Berlin, we would like to continue the tradition of the Love Parade as an annual celebration of electronic music culture,” Rave the Planet said. “Culture creators worldwide should be inspired to organise their own parades on the same day and so unite the whole world peacefully dancing together.”
