Bonga Kwana has featured fellow South African musicians Drumpope and Bucie on a new single titled ‘Ndibize’.
The track is now available for streaming and download and was released via Platoon. It carries a message of hope and was adapted from the Book of Genesis.
Lyrically, ‘Ndibize’ encourages listeners to call on God in times of hardship and need. Sonically, it fall within the Afro-house genre, featuring soulful vocals that make the song equally fitting for both worship and the dance floor.
Bonga Kwana describes the song as “an affirmation that came to me in the form of a song after a series of turbulent events in my life; a response from God, saying ‘call on me in your times of troubles’.”
Drumpope is known for fusing African sounds with electronic beats. He has worked with artists like Ntsika, Zonke and Oskido. Bucie, meanwhile, is known for her Afro-soul stylings and has appeared alongside prominent South African artists such as Black Coffee and Heavy K.
