Condolences pour in for bereaved Singer Chidinma

The hugely talented and popular Nigerian female singer Chidinma Ekile, recently released a single featuring her mother Martha, both on the cover and onthe track itself. Little did she know that barely weeks after, she would mourn the loss of her father, who passed away on 9 December 2014.

Chidinma, winner of the MTN Project Fame competition, has not released any details surrounding her father’s death, otherwise than a simple request for prayers on her social media platform, upon which she received a deluge of condolence messages. Music in Africa joins in extending our sincere sympathy to Chidinma and her family and wish them the strength to bear what clearly is a huge loss.
