According to the artist, the album’s themes centre on renewal, emotional depth and personal growth. The release also coincides with a change in her distribution, moving from Virgin Music to EMPIRE.

The project opens with ‘Intro’ featuring Boohle, a track built on ancestral motifs intended to establish the album’s spiritual tone. It is followed by ‘Muzi ka Baba’, which reflects on themes of devotion and returning home.

Other tracks include ‘Sbanxa’ featuring Makhanj, Nia Pearl and MaWhoo, which addresses issues around social behaviour and unity, and ‘Ntwana Yam’ with Xduppy, an upbeat song designed as a sing-along anthem. The album also features ‘Amaphutha’, a collaboration with The Most Wanted, JazzWRLD, Thukuthela and GL_Ceejay, exploring honesty and self-reflection.

Babalwa M has stated that the project represents her artistic progression after a year marked by high-profile collaborations. She said the album aims to reflect “truth, growth and evolution” in her work.
