Mzantsi Jazz Awards 2019: All the nominees

Voting for the nominees of the Mzantsi Jazz Awards (MJAs) is ongoing ahead on the main event on 10 August.

Spha Mdlalose has been nominated in the Best Female Jazz Artist and Best Newcomer in Jazz categories.

The public can vote in five categories by sending an SMS to 40439 with the word ‘ZaJazz’ followed by the song/album code.

The categories include Best Jazz Album, Best Foreign Jazz Album/Artist, Best Club/Venue for Jazz, Best Jazz Song, Best Radio Station Playing Jazz.

A special jury will then select the winners in the remaining categories based on their creativity, technical competence, contribution to the industry and segment or fan-base longevity.
