Zimdancehall musician Enzo Ishall was the biggest winner with two awards in the Outstanding Musician and Outstanding Song categories. Notwithstanding fierce competition from Janet Manyowa and Vuyo BrownFeli Nandi took home the Outstanding Female Musician Award, marking her first win at the NAMAs. The win comes after the release of her second album Izwi and recent performances in South Africa, the UK and Tanzania at the ACCES music conference.

Winky D won the People’s Choice Award after wide criticism that he was not nominated in the same category alongside Jah Prayzah at the 2023 NAMAs, triumphing against rappers Voltz JT, SaintFloew, Holy Ten and comedian Mai Kirifodhi. Jah Prayzah’s Chiremerera won the Outstanding Album Award, despite several music critics saying the offering acted as a promotional tool for Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa ahead of the 2023 elections.
