Open call: Limpopo Gospel Experience auditions in SA

The Limpopo Gospel Experience is calling for auditions for this year’s event, set to take place in the Waterberg District of Limpopo, South Africa, on 5 October.
The call seeks to offer two talented singers the chance to join the festival’s main stage line-up and win cash prizes.
Audition details:
- Date: 5 October 2024.
- Venue: Stand 276, Selamolela and Sekombane, Bela Bela.
- Time: 8am (auditions start promptly).
- Entry: Free of charge for participants.

The auditions will be presided over by the following judges:
- Tutje
- Rhoda
- Zaa Mokhethi (guest judge)
- Ms Flo
- Mr Reshy Resh
These auditions are part of a wider provincial search, with two winners from each district being awarded R10 000 each, and the opportunity to perform on the main stage at the Limpopo Gospel Experience festival. This initiative is essential to the festival’s focus on empowerment, development, and uplifting local talent.
“We are proud to continue our search for Limpopo’s finest gospel talent in the Waterberg District,” Limpopo Gospel Experience festival director, Francis Letsoalo said. “This festival is not just about the music; it’s about uplifting local talent, offering them a platform to shine, and connecting them to bigger opportunities. We are excited to see who will rise to the challenge in Bela Bela.”
Meanwhile, the Limpopo Gospel Experience festival will be headlined by Nigerian gospel singer Sinach, on 26 October along with Spirit of Praise and Joyous Celebration.
