Open call: WOMEX 2025 proposals

Deadline for applications is 28 February.

Driven by the worldwide music community, the annual WOMEX programme is unparalleled in the global music scene; spanning all continents, from innovation to tradition, acoustic to electronic, multicultural, diverse and inclusive of all sectors and expertise.

Showcase proposal

The Showcase dates are 23, 24 and 25 October.

Step 1

Complete this form, including the following information:

• Biography (max 200 words).
• Instrumentation (list each band member's name and their instrument).
• Web Links (including links to online live video footage; broadcast quality is not required).
• Discography.
• Upcoming Tours/Gigs in Europe (include the average number of shows per year).

Step 2

• Finalise the proposal submission fee.
• Note: In order to process the fee, you will need a Paypal account.
• For countries without Paypal or with internet problems please contact WOMEX via email before 28 February, at showcase@womex.com.

Step 3

Upload the following information:

• Five to ten songs in MP3 format (up to 25 MB per file possible).
• Three to five photos.
• Full stage plan.
• Full technical rider including backline.
• Selected press reviews or other text info.

Club summit

The showcase dates are 24 and 25 October. WOMEX explicitly welcomes DJs/Producers from all musical backgrounds and global electronic music scenes to apply for our Club Summit. Please see below the required steps in order to complete your application.

Step 1

• Complete this form, including the following information:
• Biography (max. 200 words).
• Web links including two online links to mixes that represent what the artist would like to play at WOMEX.
• Discography.
• Upcoming tours/gigs in Europe including the average number of shows per year.

Step 2

Upload the following information:

• Photos (max. three).
• Full stage plot.
• Technical rider.
