SA: Line-up confirmed for big stadium gig

Organisers of the Major League Gardens concert have released a list of artists who will perform at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on 18 March.
Now in its fourth edition, the event will run under the "All White” theme. It will feature Riky Rick, AKA, OkMalumKoolKat, Da LES and Cassper Nyovest as the headliners. Other acts confirmed for the event are Kwesta, Nasty C, Nadia Nakai, Du Boiz, A Reece, Nomuzi, Anatii and Gemini Major.
The rappers will also be joined by artists from the coastal city of Durban, namely Babes Wodumo, Stilo Magolide, Sjava, Frank Casino, Tshego, Yung Swiss, King Monada and KLY.
A number of well-known local DJs have also been added to the festival: Major League DJz, Black Motion, Maphorisa, Milkshake, Shimza, Speedsta, Sizwe Dhlomo, DJ Capital, Distruction Boyz, Moflava, Dr Peppa, DJ Sandiso, Twins on Deck, Sumbody, Mr X.
Hype Gang and Scoop Makhatini will host the show, which will be held in Africa’s biggest stadium. FNB Stadium was the host of the 2010 FIFA World Cup final and has a capacity of almost 95 000.
Running from 12pm to 2am, Major League Gardens is an open-air event where festivalgoers can bring their camping chairs and picnic blankets. It is branded as a “social festival” and is brought by Major League Music and Channel O, a South African-based music television channel.
Owned by DJ twins Bandile and Banele Mbere, popularly known as Major League DJz, Major League Gardens has grown to become one of South Africa's biggest social gatherings that hosts arguably the biggest line-up of rappers and DJs on a single day. The Mbere brothers have become household names in South Africa through the festival.
