South African singer and songwriter Nobuhle has released a new song titled ‘Ukhona’.
The record is available for streaming and download on major digital platforms. The single takes listeners on a motivational journey, addressing the challenges of financial struggles and lack of support in pursuing dreams. Nobuhle implores a higher power to intervene and encourages perseverance in working towards one’s goals.
The release marks the beginning of more song releases by Nobuhle as she is putting together her new album with some of Africa’s big artists. It will follow her 10-track sophomore album Indlela (2022) and her debut album Imvula (2021), which is a spiritual journey through African electronic sound and Afro-house.
Nobuhle was born and raised in Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal and graduated with a music and drama degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She released her debut single ‘Always With Me’ in 2020. She has worked with different house DJs and producers and was featured on Sun-EL Musician’s second album To The World and Beyond on a song titled ‘Never Never’.
She was also featured on international dance DJs duo Lemon and Herb album and DJ Merlon’s ‘Sifunimali’ single.
