South African amapiano artist Musa Keys has released his eight-track debut album TAYO. The project is available for streaming and download on all major streaming platforms.

Featured artists on the album include Moonchild Sanelly, Sir Trill, Nobantu Vilakazi, Sino Msolo and Thando Nkosi. The album includes previously released singles like ‘Vula Mlomo’, ‘Wena’ and ‘Thando Lami’. TAYO is a culmination of Musa Keys’ signature style, which is cultivated by raw and nostalgic endearment.

“I have been working on this debut album basically my entire life,” Musa Keys said. “All my experiences, inspirations and triumphant moments are all breathed and put into this project with the hope that it shall bring joy and happiness to the many lives the music touches. That is my gift to the world.”

TAYO opens up with ‘Selema (Po Po)’, featuring emerging Tanzanian act Loui. Thematically, the song touches on the musician’s desire to dominate the music scene in Africa. Musa Keys was catapulted to the top of the mainstream amapiano scene in 2020 after releasing ‘Samarian Boy’, which garnered about six million streams across major digital platforms. His other single ‘Vula Mlomo’, off TAYO, cemented him as a hitmaker with a long career ahead of him.
