BET Awards 2019 : Les nominés annoncés

Les artistes africains suivants ont été nominés dans la categorie « Best International Act » :   AKA (Afrique du Sud), Burna Boy (Nigeria), Mr Eazi(Nigeria) et Aya Nakamura (Mali/France) Act, Dave (Royaume-Uni), Giggs (Royaume-Uni) et Dosseh (France).

Sho Madjozi (Afrique du Sud) et Teni the entertainer (Nigeria) sont les seules artistes africaines nominées dans la catégorie « Best New International Act – (Viewers Choice) » . On retrouve dans la même catégorie Headie (Royaume-Uni), Octovian (Royaume-Uni), Jokair (France) et Nesly (France).

Cardi B est en tête de liste avec sept nominations, suivie de Drake qui en compte cinq. Travis Scott, Beyonce et J. Cole ont chacun quatre nominations tandis que 21 Savage, Bruno Mars, Childish Gambino, H.E.R. et Ella Mai ont chacun trois nominations.
