Call for registrations: DOADOA 2020

Registration for delegates and exhibitors at the 2020 edition of the DOADOA performing arts market is now open.
This year’s DOADOA takes place in Kampala, Uganda between 6 and 9 May 2020.
DOADOA is sponsored by the Bayimba Foundation and provides delegates and exhibitors with opportunities to create business linkages with African and international industry players and to promote their works, products and services to a wider audience while gaining knowledge about the latest trends in the music business.
Each year, music industry professionals from Africa and around the world meet to network, exchange ideas and witness showcases by upcoming and established artists from the East African region and beyond.
DOADOA says the market seeks to « unlock the potential of the East African creative industry by providing an annual platform for professional networking and mutual learning, bringing together various stakeholders in the creative industry to link people, organisations, businesses, knowledge and technology. »
Delegates can register in the following category:
- Artist.
- Institution.
- Recording.
- Promotion.
- Media.
Registration fees
- Delegate – 20 000 Ugandan shillings for showcases per night ($ 5.5).
- Stand exhibitor – 200 000 Ugandan shillings ($ 54).
Applicants should consider the following before registering:
- Registrations are accepted subject to event capacity.
- Participants are entitled to attend all DOADOA events, subject to venue capacity.
- Unless permitted, other events/activities cannot be promoted during DOADOA.
- DOADOA will not be responsible for any 3rd party liability incurred as a result of any alteration of format, date, and location of the event.
