Open call: JM Jazz World Orchestra 2025 auditions

JM International is calling on all jazz musicians aged between 18 and 26 to audition for the JM Jazz World Orchestra 2025.
The call is an opportunity to collaborate with the world’s top young jazz talent. From intimate rehearsal sessions in Groznjan, Croatia, to a tour through Europe’s venues and jazz festivals, the JM Jazz World Orchestra offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience for any aspiring jazz artist.
The opportunity allows successful artists to work with like-minded, talented musicians from across the globe. Artists will train and perform under the guidance of internationally acclaimed mentors and composers. They will travel through countries like Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Slovenia, Germany, Austria, and Italy, performing to diverse audiences.

How to apply
- Interested artists should apply here before 9 March.
Eligibility
- Jazz musicians aged between 18 and 26, playing instruments such as saxophone, trumpet, piano, drums, and more. Improvisers on any instrument are welcome.
- Results: 21 March 2025.
Requirements
- CV outlining musical education and experience.
- Links to two performance videos showcasing the artist’s theme and improvisation skills.
- A recommendation letter from a music teacher or professional.
- A statement confirming the artist’s travel costs to/from Groznjan are covered.
- A copy of the artist’s passport.
“We are honoured to have the renowned trombonist, composer, and educator, Luis Bonilla, as our Artistic Director for 2025,” a statement reads. “His illustrious career and dedication to jazz education make him the perfect mentor for aspiring jazz musicians.”
