South African singer Justin Serrao has released a new single called ‘Perfect Stranger’.
The song was co-written and recorded by Serrao and South African musician and producer Mark Beling.
“’Perfect stranger’ is a song about not wanting to settle for the next candidate just because they are there,” Serrao said. “I had something I wanted to get off my chest in the writing of ‘Perfect Stranger’, so I came to Mark with a stripped-down love song and we turned it into this big ballad. It was about three months of back and forth with this baby and the time spent in studio and working with Beling has paid off.”
Serrao’s team said: “The song celebrates Serrao’s country and rock signature sound and elevates it into a powerful ballad that cries with the struggle of a broken heart.”
Serrao’s previous releases include the Touching Toes Without Clothes (2012), Forget and Let Loose (2014) and his 2018 EP One Year Warning. Some of his notable singles include ‘Kinders van die Wind,’ ‘Sucker,’ and ‘Raining in My Soul’.
‘Perfect Stranger’ is available for streaming and download on as iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer and Google Play.
